Glossopdale Sixth Form celebrates A Level achievements

Glossopdale Sixth Form has praised it’s ‘exceptional’ Year 13, as students secure top results and bright futures. 

The hardworking students have secured excellent A-level and vocational results - opening doors to universities, apprenticeships, and careers across the country. 

Head of Sixth Form, Mr Daniel Peate, commended the cohort’s resilience and camaraderie: 

“Congratulations go to all our students who, without exception, demonstrated the determination needed to achieve the best grades they could. Over the last two years, we have had the privilege of working with this amazing group and have no doubt they will follow their dreams—meeting whatever the future brings with humour and good nature. They are a year group who supported each other every step of the way and deserve every success they have achieved.” 

The majority of students will now progress to degree courses at prestigious universities across the UK, while others have secured degree-level apprenticeships or embarked on exciting career pathways. 

“We are immensely proud of all our Year 13 students” Mr Peate added, “and wish them the very best as they leave us for a new set of life experiences.” 

Headteacher Ms Kate Smith echoed this pride, highlighting the students’ dedication and long-standing connection to the school: 

“We are thrilled that our Year 13 students have achieved such superb results; they have worked so hard and shown great commitment throughout their time at Glossopdale Sixth Form. Many have been with us for seven years, and it has been a joy to share in their successes today. They absolutely deserve to feel proud as they move on to further studies, gap year adventures, and exciting employment opportunities.”
