Glossop Mountain Rescue Team have been recognised for the increasingly diverse support they provide the police.
The team were visited by Chief Superintendent Hayley Barnett from Derbyshire Police, who presented a certificate to mark their commitment and adaptability.
Over the last two years, Glossop MRT has seen a huge rise in demand, with their volunteers assisting the police and other emergency services in an increasingly widening spectrum of job types.
The team, who are funded by donations, have been quick to recognise the vital support provided by the local community that helps them be able to deliver the best service they can to people in distress.
