Glossop Carnival back this summer in Manor Park

The carnival will take place on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July where there will be a range of entertainment, stalls and fun for all the family.

On the Saturday there will be an RSPCA dog show as well as fairground rides, childrens entertainers, food and drink stalls. Sunday will see the Stalybridge Brass Band, Centre Stage dance group and Regent Big Band.

The organisers of the carnival are appealing for local craft and charity stalls to get in touch with Jean at 07811 526455 for more information and application forms.

Jean added: “We would also like to welcome any new members onto our committee and anyone who is interested in joining can get more information by calling the above number. We meet one evening a month, usually at The Gun in Hollingworth  to plan the event which then runs over two days in early July each year."
