Gamesley's G52 treats families to Blackpool adventure

Families from Gamesley were treated to a memorable day out in Blackpool on Saturday, courtesy of the G52 Community Group.

Despite less-than-ideal weather, the trip went ahead, giving local families the chance to enjoy the seaside and take in the famous Blackpool Illuminations. The group made the most of the funfair rides, strolled along the promenade and picked up the traditional ‘Kiss Me Quick’ hats.

The day ended with a coach tour to see the illuminations before the group returned to Gamesley, tired but happy after a fun-filled outing.

Special thanks go to Pat Javanaud and the G52 staff for organising yet another successful community event.
