Pupils from Gamesley Primary School had the chance to quiz local police officers and learn more about their work.
On Friday afternoon (17 February), PCSO Buller, PCSO Turner and PC Ryan attended the school on Grindleford Gardens.
The Year 5 pupils were taking part in their weekly mini police project session.
They were shown and informed about the drone unit, asking lots of questions about its uses and capacity.
They went on to look at items carried in the ANPR [Automatic Number Plate Recognition] police car.
The students went on to ask PC Ryan even more questions about his role when returning to the classroom.
The police officers said some great and very interesting questions were asked and said well done to the pupils.
