Eight-year-old Ellis Padley-Rhodes from Glossop has raised more than £100 for Glossop Cat Rescue.
Ellis loves animals and wanted to raise as much money as possible for the local cat charity. He’s achieved what we wanted to by doing raffles in school and selling tickets to family, friends and teachers.
After doing numerous raffles, with the prize of Easter eggs chosen by Ellis himself, he has now raised £150 from this. However, Ellis’s dad promised whatever he would raise, he would match the amount so all together, £301 has been donated to the charity.
Ellis’s mother, Natalie Rhodes commented on her son’s achievement, saying: “He chose Glossop Cat Rescue because they are local and are caring for cats in our area and I could not be more proud of him!”
