Glossopdale Foodbank are holding a Donation and Information Day at Marks and Spencer in the town centre on Saturday.
It's taking place at the store in Howard Town Mill from 11am to 4pm.
The foodbank are inviting people to come and place an item of food in their donation trolleys.
Volunteers will be present to answer any questions people may have about the foodbank or volunteering for the foodbank.
Items which are currently most needed are tinned custard, tinned fruit, tinned vegetables, tinned spaghetti, biscuits and toiletries.
The foodbank say all donations are very much appreciated and will go towards helping local people who are in food crisis.
