Having a clear-out of your wardrobe? The Fire Fighters Charity's Bag it and Bank it campaign is returning this month.
They are encouraging fire stations to collect as much clothing and shoes as possible to help them raise much-needed funds.
Fire stations in Chapel-en-le-Frith, New Mills and Glossop have recycling banks where you can donate items, which the charity can collect and convert into cash.
Items you can donate are adult and children’s clothing, socks, coats, underwear, paired shoes, handbags, and linen. They cannot take bric-a-brac, plastic, toys or electrical items.
The charity is hoping to break last year's record by raising more than £80,000 from clothes recycling throughout January 2022.
