Here are the terms discussed at the latest Charlesworth Parish Council meeting.
The latest action items agreed at a recent meeting of Charlesworth Parish Council include:
- Councillors have decided to use the redundant phone box in the centre of the village as a defibrillator station and are looking at costings.
- Chapel Brow’s proposed one way system is on the list of Derbyshire County Council’s Traffic Regulation Orders and Cllr Peter Cooper is in the process of getting feedback from residents.
- The council is also getting costings for replacing wooden stakes on the popular zip wire at the recreation ground as they are rotting and need to be changed in the next three to six months.
- Councillors are asking High Peak Borough Council to address the constant problem of littering at the Monks Road layby by installing a bin. They have also contacted the police over the use of drugs there.
