Police have released a CCTV image of a group of boys who may have been at a Whaley Bridge store around the time a member of staff was assaulted there.
It happened at around 1.50pm on Wednesday 7 October at B&M Bridgemont on Buxton Road.
The female staff member was punched after trying to stop someone they thought had been trying to steal alcohol.
Police believe the boys pictured may have information which could help with enquiries.
