Crossroads Derbyshire are having a Candlelit Vigil this evening (Monday) to remember the two women killed each week in domestic abuse incidents.
The event marks the United Nations 16 Days of Activism, which began last Monday (November 25) with The International Day of Elimination of Violence Against Women.
There will be speakers, poems, music, candles, readings and a minute's silence.
Everyone is welcome to attend from 5pm to 6pm at Glossop Masonic Hall on Henry Street.
Crossroads Derbyshire, formerly High Peak Women's Aid, offer a range of confidential support and advisory services to women, men, children and young people suffering the damaging effects of domestic abuse.
