Glossopdale Foodbank is appealing for donations of tinned items to help feed local families in need this winter.
Glossop's main foodbank currently needs:
- Tinned hot dogs
- Tinned meatballs
- Tinned custard
- Tinned pasta
- Tinned fruit (peach slices/fruit cocktail)
- Tinned potatoes
- Corned beef
- UHT semi-skimmed/whole milk
- Meat meals such as tinned stewing steak or chicken in sauce
Donation drop-off points are at the Co-op in Simmondley, Tesco in Glossop and Marks & Spencer in Glossop.
Alternatively, donations can be taken to Glossopdale Foodbank, based at Unit 5 on Brookfield Industrial Estate on Peakdale Road, between 9am and 11am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
