Glossop-based High Peak Build Back Better members gathered in Norfolk Square last Thursday in support of a national day of action.
The group is also encouraging people to write to High Peak MP Robert Largan with their vision of the society they would like to create as the nation rebuilds after the coronavirus pandemic.
Build Back Better UK is a broad-based, non-partisan national campaign, set up with the specific aim of bringing together organisations and individuals from across all sectors of society.
It wants businesses, charities, religious groups, and environment and community groups to create a united front for the pursuit of a sustainable recovery from the Covid crisis.
