Brick thrown at car in Hadfield

Police are appealing for information after a brick was thrown through a car windscreen in Hadfield last night (Tuesday).

The vehicle was a white Seat Ibiza, which was parked on Thorncliffe Road.

It is understood to have happened sometime between 9pm and 10pm.

The images sent to us by the owner of the car show the extent of the damage caused.

Anyone who may have witnessed the criminal damage or has any other information which could help police is asked to ring Derbyshire Police on 101, or message @derbyshireconstabulary on Facebook or @DerbysPolice on Twitter, quoting reference number 20000067608.
