Glossop Fire Station is holding an Awareness Day for the on-call firefighters crew.
The day will give people an insight into the role of an on-call firefighter, a chance to have a go at the physical tests involved and an opportunity to ask any questions about the role.
It's aimed at people who would be able to respond to the Whitfield Park station from either their home or workplace within five minutes.
The awareness day will be happening on Saturday 2 April between 10am and 2pm.
