Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was injured in a collision between a mini bus and a parked car.
At around 1.10pm on Wednesday, September 18, police were called to reports of crash between two vehicles on Stamford Road in Mossley.
It is believed a Ford Transit minibus collided with the back of a Kia Soul which was stationary.
A passenger in the minibus was thrown out of her seat and sustained serious injuries.
The victim – a woman in her 70s – remains in hospital in serious condition.
A police spokesman said: "Our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell footage, from the area in the moments leading up to the collision."
