Tiger opens new garden building show site at Ashton garden centre

A new garden building display site has opened at Notcutts Garden Centre in Ashton-under-Lyne, marking the latest expansion for specialist retailer Tiger.

The show site, launched by Woodlands Home & Garden Group in partnership with Lancashire Outdoor Living Limited, is Tiger’s 23rd location in the UK and the company’s second opening of 2026. It is also the first Tiger site to open within a Notcutts Garden Centre.

Twenty-five models are on show, including summerhouses, potting sheds, modular sheds and insulated log cabins from Tiger’s Onyx range.

The Ashton opening builds on an existing partnership between Tiger and Lancashire Outdoor Living, which already operates a Tiger site in Leyland. The companies say demand for garden buildings has remained strong, encouraging further investment in the region.

James Flowerday, owner of Lancashire Outdoor Living, said the second site was a natural step following the success of the Leyland location.

“We know the demand is here in Lancashire,” he said. “The combination of British manufacturing, supply chain control and a long-term guarantee gives customers confidence, and that has been reflected in strong interest at our first site.”

From Tiger’s perspective, the Ashton location represents a milestone as its first presence within a Notcutts garden centre.

Sam Jenkinson, Tiger’s Head of Marketing, said: “Notcutts Ashton Park is a strong retail environment, and working with Lancashire Outdoor Living has proven to be a positive partnership. This opening helps to strengthen Tiger’s national footprint and gives us a new platform in Greater Manchester.”

All Tiger buildings are manufactured in British workshops using timber from FSC-certified and controlled sources, and are supplied with a 20-year guarantee, with professional installation available.
