On the Friday (9th May), festival goers will see the lineup that consists of Majestic, Ellie Sax, StepheniB, Tristan Walsh, Chris J, Frater and Will Anthony. All hosted by Danny B and the afterparty will be hosted by Tristan Walsh and Danny B.

Saturday will see Liverpool band Cast take centre stage as well as Starsailor. Tameside Radio’s Laura Beth will be hosting Saturday which sees a range of indie tribute bands like Oasis Supernova, The Beatles Dub Club and The Rolling People. Nigel Clark from Dodgy, Chris Helme from the Seahorses, Plastic Heart and Cobain Jones will also be gracing the stage.

Inspiral Carpet’s Clint Boon will host Saturdays afterparty.

A spokesman said: “The night should have an incredible vibe and certainly bring something new right to the heart of Tameside.”

StalyFest closes on the following day with “a more traditional music festival” including an afternoon and evening of live music with “something to suit all tastes”.

The line-up is currently being finalised, but StalyFest organisers are confident that the artists that have already been signed-up will ensure that the festival will be “the talk of Tame side” over the coming months.

StalyFest is being organised by S1 Event Solutions Ltd who organise and promote the successful Made in Manchester festivals.

Rob Brierley of S1 said: “We were so excited to be invited to work on this project to bring something fresh to Tameside. Being a local lad myself, I jumped at the opportunity and we very much hope that StalyFest 2025, will be the first of a series of annual festivals.”

The Christie Charity has been named as charity partner for the event.

Celtic’s finance and operations director Paul Bowden said: “Virtually everyone in the region will know someone who has relied on the amazing Christie Hospital at a time of need, so we are so excited to name The Christie Charity as our partner for our first festival.

“We will be able to give the charity plenty of opportunities to share their profile alongside the StalyFest brand and raise all important funds at the same time.”

The team they would have had to displace from the play-off spots (there was only one) was Salford City.
