The two-day music festival features household name acts and will bring something new and exciting to the area.

The festival will be at Stalybridge Celtic FC on Friday 9th May and Saturday 10th May.

Paul Bowden, co-owner of the football club says that “Bringing the festival to Stalybridge is exciting for everyone connected to the club. The event will put the team and the town firmly on the map and bring in much needed revenue to us and the wider community. It’s simply going to be huge!”

The Friday night will recreate a banging club-scene hosted by Danny B.

Majestic will be headlining the night, best known for his remix of Boney M's 'Rasputin' and has been a huge name on the club and dance scene for the last two decades.

Ellie Sax and StephaniB will be supporting Majestic, with a variety of saxaphones and drumming bringing an amazing atmosphere to the heart of Tameside.

Further support comes from DJ's Tristan Walsh, Chris J Frater and Will Anthony.

Tristan and Danny B will be closing the night at the after-party on the Friday as well.

Indie rock legends will be taking over the Saturday night, with our very own Laura Beth hosting.

Locals from Wigan and Leigh, Starsailor will be headlining the Saturday and are currently celebrating 25 years of their debut Platinum selling album. They are best known for their 2003 single "Silence Is Easy", which reached number 9 in the UK, and "Four to the Floor", which reached number one in France as well as the top five in Australia.

For the joint headline slot, we have Liverpool’s finest Cast with 2 Platinum albums alongside a host of top-10 singles - have hit the headlines in recent weeks, as they have been confirmed as one of the key support acts for the forthcoming Oasis reunion tour – playing at all 19 dates over the Summer. With hits such as ‘Walkaway’ ,‘Alright’, ‘Sandstorm’, ‘Finetime’ and ‘Guiding Star’ the crowd are guaranteed for a set of legendary hits.

Nigel Clark, Chris Helme, Oasis tribute 'Oasis Supernova' and Plastic Heart are amongst names supporting on the night.

The Saturday night after-party will be hosted by the one and only Clint Boon.

The Christie Charity is StalyFest's charity partner for the event.

Nigel Jones, the club Chairman explained that “virtually everyone in the region will know someone who has relied on the amazing Christie Hospital at a time of need, so we are so excited to name The Christie Charity as our partner for our first festival.  We will be able to give the charity plenty of opportunities to share their profile alongside the StalyFest brand and raise all important funds at the same time."
