It's party central at The Vale this spring as four dazzling headliners are set to turn up the feelgood vibes all the way to number 11.
Kicking off the spring season this month is the return of Mossley favourites Mr Wilson's Second Liners (be quick, it's almost sold out). The ultra high energy double bill of Funke and the Two Tone Baby and Duncan Disorderly and The Scallywags follows in April.
And in May, the blistering beat machine that is TC & The Groove Family is bound to impress.

With just a handful of tickets left, you'll have to be quick to catch Mr Wilson's Second Liners as they return to the Mossley arts centre on Saturday 22 March 2025. Paying homage to the diehard days of the Hacienda, 90s club culture and its greatest hero, Tony Wilson, the Second Liners deliver an endearing and addictive New Orleans brass meets Manchester club classics vibe. Proudly stepping out in uniformed style, they channel the spirit of Manchester’s 24 hour party people and get audiences dancing wherever they play.
Support comes from canine-headed brothers Laurie and Sam Crombie, on their second visit to The Vale, after supporting HENGE in 2024. The founders of Liverpool's Kazimier club, Dogshow are on a mission to create the ultimate party experience, and might accidentally be the most surreal band you’ll witness anytime soon. Fusing live techno, jazz, dance and musicianship, their show comprises a battery-powered dog trolley in the

APRIL
April brings a high energy double bill, featuring Funke and the Two Tone Baby and Duncan Disorderly and The Scallywags.
Funke and the Two Tone Baby AKA multi-instrumentalist Dan Turnbull describes himself as a one-man mechanical alt-blues band.
Created live and direct with loopers and samples, Funke and the Two Tone Baby sets the bar of how much sound a one-man band can produce, as fat dance beats and filthy synth basslines are juxtaposed by a beaten up blues guitar, sing-along anthems and glitchy harmonica. Over the last 10 years, Dan has played over 1,000 shows and each year his musical style and sonic output have grown and expanded along with a dedicated cult following.
Duncan Disorderly and The Scallywags are a full-power party band guaranteed to bring the energy. Fusing ska, calypso, reggae and afrobeat, they bring a vibrant, festival-ready sound and are known for their silly, high-spirited performances and infectious grooves.
With a massive following built from years of relentless gigging, they captured audiences' hearts at festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown, and Secret Garden Party.

And on Saturday 10 May 2025, it's the turn of 10-piece Leeds collective TC & The Groove Family. Driven by drummer Tim Cook, their live shows are powerful and dynamic, exploring grooves and genres from the UK and around the world, including afrobeat, breakbeat, jungle, jazz and highlife.
Their music celebrates the coming together of cultures, and the unity that music can provide for everyone and the band have played alongside afro-fusion legends K.O.G & The Zongo Brigade and London jazzers Yussef Dayes, Pyjaen and Cykada at shows across the UK.
Debut album First Home built upon the success of early singles, finding support from Jamz Supernova and Craig Charles on BBC Radio 6 as well as being playlisted on Jazz FM.
Fordaytime movers and groovers, The Vale's free Spring Up! event is back on Sunday 11 May 2025. Expect music and dance workshops, live music, garden activities and much more from morning to early evening.
