A homelessness charity in Mossley is inviting the local community to come together for a day of shopping, entertainment and fundraising at its upcoming Spring Fayre.
Emmaus Mossley will host the free, family-friendly event on Saturday 21 March from 10am to 4pm at its Second-hand Superstore at Longlands Mill, Queen Street, Mossley (OL5 9AH).
The spring-themed celebration promises something for all ages, with live music, children’s craft activities, a charity tombola, art exhibition and a wide selection of seasonal bargains. Visitors can also enjoy freshly prepared food and drinks served both inside and outside the venue, including street-food specials alongside Emmaus favourites.
The Superstore will be specially stocked for the occasion, with fresh displays, sale items and an eclectic mix of second-hand treasures for shoppers and bargain hunters to browse.
Hazel Hodkinson, Retail Manager at Emmaus Mossley, said: “The Emmaus Spring Fayre is our first big charity event of the year and something our community always looks forward to. We have some exciting developments within our Second-hand Superstore which we hope to share with attendees at this event.
“As well as an eclectic mix of items for sale, we’ll have fun activities, kid’s crafts, a charity tombola, art exhibition and live music to keep everyone entertained. Delicious food and drinks will be served inside and out, with street-food specials and our usual Emmaus favourites.”
All funds raised on the day will go towards sustaining the charity and the vital support it provides to people who have experienced homelessness.
Emmaus Mossley offers a home for up to 26 people at any one time, providing not just accommodation but tailored support, training and work opportunities to help individuals rebuild their confidence, self-esteem and skills, and work towards their personal goals.
The Spring Fayre is free to attend, and everyone is welcome.
