Pub's charity night boosts Willow Wood and Prostate Cancer UK

A pub's charity night raised more than £600 for Willow Wood Hospice.

Some of the proceeds from the event at the Snipe Inn, in Audenshaw, will also go to Prostate Cancer UK.

With performances by Allan, Judy and Fred, the event saw local residents turn out in force, including Miss Endeavour Great Britain Leanne Nuttall, and Waterloo and Taunton Conservative Club Chairman Leon Tamcken.

The event was organised by Peter Holden, who sadly was unable to attend due to being admitted to hospital,.

Peters son, Rick, said "Thank you to everyone who has attended and who has given generously to the fundraiser, one of which I know my Dad had been looking forward to."
