Police appeal for witnesses after two people are left with 'life threatening and life changing injuries' in crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road crash on Talbot Road, Hyde, on Sunday night left two people with 'life-threatening' injuries.

At approximately 5.30pm police were called to the scene of the crsh and one vehicle was found with extensive damage and two people with life-threatening and life-changing injuries.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) were on hand to extract the driver and front seat passenger from the vehicle and paramedics treated them at the scene before taking them to hospital for treatment, where they remain.

With initial investigations carried out, it is suspected that the vehicle had crashed into a perimeter wall of an industrial building, which caused significant front and near side damage.

Police are now appealing for anyone for anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
