Parents and carers across Tameside are being encouraged to share their experiences of the support available from pregnancy through to their child’s early years.
Their feedback will help shape a new Early Years Strategy being developed by Tameside Council alongside partner organisations.
The strategy will focus on strengthening support for children and families from pregnancy until the age of five. It will also set out the changes the council and its partners want to deliver, with the aim of ensuring services work together effectively so every child in Tameside has the best possible start in life.
As part of the process, the council is asking parents and carers to give their views on the support currently available for young children and families. The feedback will help identify what is working well and where improvements could be made.
To encourage people to take part, everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win a £50 voucher of their choice.
Teresa Smith, Executive Member for Children and Families at Tameside Council, said: “We want every child in Tameside to have the best start in life, and that begins with listening to the people who know their children best.
“Parents and carers play a crucial role in shaping early years support, and their feedback will help us design services that truly meet the needs of local families. We encourage everyone to take part and share their experiences.”
The survey is open until Monday, March 30.
