A brand-new community group is bringing warmth, friendship, and fun to Ashton, with weekly gatherings held at St Michaels Parish Church on Stamford Street Central.
Taking place every Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm, the group is open to everyone and offers a welcoming space for those who may be feeling lonely or simply want to spend time with others in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Guests can enjoy free tea, coffee, and biscuits, as well as the chance to play a few rounds of bingo – with plenty of laughs along the way.
Organised with the local community in mind, the group aims to provide a safe and sociable space where people of all ages can connect, chat, and share some company midweek.
Whether you're looking to make new friends, reconnect with old ones, or just fancy a hot drink and a game of bingo, this new initiative offers the perfect midweek pick-me-up.
