A new funeral home has opened its doors in Ashton, Bowley & Son’s Funeral Directors, added this latest addition to their family-run business which is a place built with compassion, sensitivity, and the heartfelt desire to support local families during their most difficult moments.

At the heart of this new home is something truly special: Théo’s Chapel, a peaceful, private baby chapel created in memory of baby Théo. This unique space has been lovingly designed to give bereaved families a gentle, dedicated environment in which to say goodbye to their little ones with dignity, respect, and care.

“This isn’t just a building to us,” says Bowley & Son’s. “it’s a space created with warmth, care, and the deep understanding of what families need during some of the hardest moments life can bring.”

This new Stalybridge home adds an important, much-needed resource for families experiencing baby or child loss.

Bowley & Sons posted to Facebook: “As a family, we’ve walked this path with so many others. We know how hard it is — and we know how much it matters to have someone beside you who truly cares. That’s why we do what we do, and why we’ll always be here for our community.”

The funeral home will continue to provide a full range of family funeral services, with the deeply meaningful addition of Théo’s Chapel.

Bowley & Son’s extended a heartfelt thank you to the Sigley family, who have generously allowed the chapel to be dedicated in loving memory of their son, Théo. The family’s courage and openness through Théo’s fight have touched the hearts of many.

The team also expressed gratitude to Andy’s Man Club Ashton-under-Lyne, whose support and shared mission of care have played an important role in Bowley & Son’s work with grieving families. “We couldn't recommend their services enough, they carry out their care and work with the same passion and pride we do here at Bowleys.”
