More than 1,140 children received a Christmas gift thanks to the Tameside Toy Appeal.
Generous people donated 7,57 toys to the appeal and more than £2,900 was raised on Just Giving ensuring hundreds of needy youngsters got a festive treat.
The appeal is run by the Tameside Reporter and Tameside Radio with Action Together.
Action Together's Tameside operations manager Sian Goodwin said: "The appeal is a fantastic community effort, but it would not be a success without our partnership. I want to thank you and your teams for all your efforts, and continued support.
