Dog lovers are being invited to enjoy coffee and cake while meeting some four-legged friends in need of a new home at Dogs Trust Manchester’s Coffee Morning on Sunday, 7 September.
The free event runs from 10am to 1pm at the Rehoming Centre on Parkway, Denton, and offers visitors the chance to meet some of the charity’s dogs currently waiting for adoption.
As well as enjoying refreshments, guests can learn more about the work of the centre, browse a doggy nearly-new stall for bargains, and pick up a range of Dogs Trust goodies – from mugs and hats to treat tins and umbrellas.
A highlight of the day will be the rehoming parades held in the centre’s indoor agility ring, where visitors can see some of the dogs in action and hear about the kind of homes they need.
Nicola Hardman, Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Manchester, said: “We’re really looking forward to meeting local dog lovers and seeing some old and new faces. Take the opportunity to come along, chat to the team, and, of course, find out more about our gorgeous dogs in need of new homes.
“There will also be rehoming parades in the indoor agility ring so that people can see some of our dogs in action, find out about the type of homes they need, and maybe they will find their perfect doggie match.”
No advance booking is required, just turn up on the day and enjoy coffee, cake, and the company of some of Manchester’s most loveable pups.
