Jigsaw Homes staff raise more than £14,000 for men’s mental health charity

A local housing provider has handed over a cheque of more than £14,000 to men’s mental health charity AndysManClub after a year of successful fundraising.

Employees at Jigsaw Homes Group in Tameside raised £14,125 for the charity, which was chosen by staff as its Charity of the Year for 2025.

The total was generated through a wide range of activities organised by colleagues throughout the year. These included a special Parkrun, bingo nights, football matches, learn-to-paint classes and raffles, alongside sales of decommissioned laptops and regular monthly staff donations.

Additional contributions helped boost the final total, including a weekend stay in a holiday home generously donated by Jigsaw’s Heating Installation Manager, Luke Garner, a £500 Airbnb gift voucher and a £750 donation from a supplier’s social value fund.

The cheque was formally presented to Chris Kelly, Greater Manchester and Lancashire Lead for AndysManClub, by Brian Moran and Katie Marshall alongside Jigsaw employees.

As part of the partnership, Jigsaw also hosted online sessions with the charity to help colleagues learn more about the organisation’s work tackling the stigma surrounding men’s mental health.

AndysManClub provides free peer-to-peer support groups across the UK, offering a confidential and non-judgmental space where men of all ages can openly discuss their mental health. The charity now runs around 330 clubs attended by more than 6,500 men nationwide.

Katie Marshall, Deputy Chief Executive of Jigsaw Homes Group, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have presented AndysManClub with more than £14,000 raised by our colleagues.

“We hope that by raising awareness of the work done by the charity within our workforce, we can show that it’s OK to talk and that this money can go towards helping those who might be struggling with their mental health.”

Jigsaw Homes Group will now turn its fundraising attention to its Charity of the Year for 2026, Reuben’s Retreat.
