A child has been taken to hospital after an incident at a swimming pool in Hyde. Emergency services were called to Hyde Leisure Pool on Walker Lane on Sunday afternoon.
The child was pulled from the water and was conscious when taken to hospital for further checks.
In a statement, Active Tameside says the child is now making a full recovery
They thanked staff, members of the public, and an off-duty paramedic who helped at the scene.
All services at the leisure centre have since returned to normal.
