Sixties music legend Dave Berry will be sharing stories of six decades on the road in a visit to a High Peak book shop.
The story of his pioneering days in Sheffield in the early 1960s, to his many Top Twenty Hits and a six decade career, featuring encounters with the Beatles, the Stones, and many more big names in the entertainment industry, plus his World Tours and European Superstardom, will be among the topics under discussion of Friday April 4, at High Peak Bookstore and Cafe, in Brierlow Bar,
Dave will be ntroduced and interviewed by David McPhie at the event.
Dave, real name David Holgate Grundy, was born in Sheffield 1941 and was a key figure in the beat music boom of the early to mid 60s.
His biggest hit was The Crying Game which reached number five in the charts in 1964.
