An ex-police officer from Tameside has been jailed for three years and nine months after sexually assaulting two young girls as they slept.
Robert McMaster, of Victoria Road, Dukinfield, sexually assaulted the victims, aged eight and ten at the time, between 2017 and 2018.
The 66-year-old denied the charges throughout the trial. However, the jury came to a unanimous decision of guilty.
He will be placed on the Child Sex Offenders Register for life.
