The Together Centre in Dukinfield welcomed dozens of local residents for a warm and welcoming community Christmas lunch, bringing people together to celebrate the season over good food and friendly company.
Guests were treated to a traditional festive meal prepared by the centre’s dedicated staff and volunteers. Plates were filled with roast turkey, stuffing, vegetables, and all the trimmings, followed by seasonal desserts that added extra cheer to the afternoon.
The event offered more than just a hearty meal, it provided a place for people of all ages to connect, chat, and enjoy each other’s company during a time of year that can feel isolating for some. Laughter and conversation filled the room as neighbours and friends shared stories and made memories around the table.
Volunteers said they were delighted with the turnout and proud to host an event that strengthens community spirit. Many attendees expressed their appreciation for the welcoming atmosphere and the chance to celebrate Christmas surrounded by others.
