Tuesday 7th October is World Mental Health Day, and to mark the occasion there will be a special event at the Hattersley Hub (near Tesco) from 9:30am to 1pm.
The event will run alongside the monthly Makers Market, showcasing a fantastic range of handmade goods from local talent.
You’ll also be able to take part in wellbeing activities and chat with a variety of local services, including Public Health, Be Well, Carers Centre, Library Services, Extra Time and the Alzheimer’s Society.
Kate from Age UK Tameside will be there to share information about our services, and the Falls Prevention Team will be offering invaluable advice to help you stay independent.
Plus, free hot refreshments will be available throughout the morning - They’d love to see you there!
