From Monday June 30th onwards, artist of the week on Tameside Radio's Local Music Spotlight feature is Elijah Jenkins. With his raw lyrics, soulful vocals, and acoustic charm, Elijah has been gaining many fans on the indie scene. Since launching his career in August 2023 with his heartfelt debut single 'Start Again', Elijah has captured the attention of fans and critics alike. His 2024 EP, 'Made of Moments', marked a major milestone in his career, with six singles collectively amassing over 100,000 streams, including 35,000 for the standout track 'Take a Chance on Her'. Since starting his journey, Elijah has played at gigs for respected music promoters such as 'This Feeling' and 'Scruff Of The Neck' and also supported Reverend and The Makers. This year, now complete as a four piece band, he plans on releasing more music to continue growing his fanbase, and with his honest songwriting and compelling performances, Elijah has the music world at his feet. His music has already been played on Radio Stations in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.
