A woman has been taken to hospital following a collision involving three vehicles in the Hurst Cross area of Ashton last night, March 5.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Queens Road shortly after 9pm and the road was closed off for around 45 minutes.
Witnesses reported seeing a red Fiat 500 "hit multiple vehicles before flipping over", with one saying she "heard the bangs, looked out and it was on its roof".
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "One fire engine from Stalybridge Fire Station and the Technical Response Unit from Ashton-under-Lyne were called to attend.
"Crews arrived quickly and worked alongside Greater Manchester Police to make the area safe. One female casualty was taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Firefighters were in attendance for approximately 45 minutes."
