Warning about two road closures in Hyde

Residents are being warned about two road closures in the Hyde area of Tameside.

Hill Street is closed between Mottram Old Road and Nether Street from Monday 18 to Tuesday 29 October, whilst works are undertaken for a new water and gas connection. Access for residents will be maintained.

Mallory Road will be closed at the junction of Victoria Street on Tuesday 19 October between 9.30am and 3pm.

Tameside Council's Highways team say the closure will be in place whilst United Utilities repair a defective manhole frame and cover in the carriageway. A diversion will be in place on site.
