To celebrate World Beer Day on Tuesday (15 June), the Denton South councillors are running a Pub of the Year competition across the ward.
The competition runs until Sunday 20 June at 10pm.
Residents of Denton South can vote for their Denton South 'pub of the year' by visiting www.teamdentonsouth.co.uk/pub
The Denton South ward area covers Haughton Green, Haughton Dale, south Denton and Yew Tree.
Cllr Claire Reid, speaking on behalf of Team Denton South, said: "It's been really tough for pubs throughout the pandemic so we wanted to do something to support them and encourage people to drink local."
Claire added: "We'll be profiling each pub this week and I even think the competition demands us to go and sample the beer in our local pubs - it's a tough ask but we'll do it!"
