A teenager has been charged with 'a number' of burglaries in the Droylsden area.
The 17-year-old male, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with burglary, attempted burglary, obstructing police and possessing class B drugs.
A blow torch was used to gain entry to properties in the early hours of Sunday 9 January.
After being charged by Tameside's Serious Acquisitive Crime Team, he was remanded into police custody to appear at Manchester Youth Court on Wednesday morning (12 January).
Police say investigations are ongoing "in relation to possible further linked matters".
