Cycling enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that Tameside Cycle Track will be back open from next week.
The track off Richmond Street in Ashton - which first opened in 2010 - will reopen on Monday 13 July.
It will be open from 9am to 3pm Mondays to Fridays initially.
Active Tameside say it will be running 45 minute sessions with a booking system in place.
People interested can book via the website or app but will need to sign up to a casual membership, free of charge, for the purposes of the NHS Test and Trace system.
It adds: "We ask only one spectator per booking at this present time. Toilets are not available and where possible we ask please bring your own equipment as there will be limited availability.
"The Tameside Cycle Track bookings will be available under the Active Medlock section both on the website and via the app. If you need any further information, please email Oliver.Davy-Day@activetameside.com. We look forward to seeing you down there soon!"
