Tameside College media make-up students impressed judges at the Association of Hairdressing and Therapists north west regional competition recently.
Dylan Danko, level 3 media make-up, was presented with a gold medal for first place in the ‘Create an Image- Carnival’ theme.
While his colleague Beth Breheny, level 3 media make-up, claimed third place in the half body paint section.
The event, in Blackpool, was attended by competitors from colleges throughout the north west of England and as far afield as Newcastle. Both students have now progressed to the finals in Birmingham in May.
