Businesses in Tameside can now apply for a one-off payment to help them re-open safely as coronavirus lockdown restrictions continue to ease.
The Restart Grant is now available to businesses that are rate-paying, as well as non-essential retail, hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym businesses.
A one-off payment of up to £6,000 for non-essential retail and up to £18,000 for businesses in the other sectors are available.
Business owners can check their eligibility and apply online by visiting www.tameside.gov.uk/coronavirus/businessratesrecovery.
