There was a whole host of festive fun in Mossley last weekend.
The town saw its Christmas Lights Switch-On take place on the market ground.
But before that there were activities from late afternoon before the lights switch-on in the early evening.
The fun took place between 4-7pm and included music, brass bands, characters dressed up and plenty of family fun.
There was a craft market in the George Lawton Hall, with special guest Father Christmas, and entertainment at the market place stage, and rides and stalls at the Market Place.
Mossley schools and local community groups performed on the stage and the crowds joined the festive sing-a-long.
Visitors also took along their own homemade lanterns to join the fun on the market ground.
The lights switch-on took place at 6.30pm.
