Natalie Drabble will be swimming the length of the English Channel to support Willow Wood Hospice.
She will be swimming 1352 lengths of Tameside Wellness Centres pool across the month of June.
Not only is Natalie swimming the channel to keep fit, but also in memory of her mum Angela, who was cared for by the Willow Wood Hospice.
Willow Wood provides high-quality, multi professional care, support and education across Tameside and Glossop for patients affected by any life-limiting illness.
Natalie was once a part of a swimming team but hasn’t been in the pool for 17 years until recently.
Tameside Wellness Centre in Denton is fully behind Natalie's fundraiser and is even providing a lifeguard to count the lengths.
