Students transform Care Home

Hyde Fire Station's 37th cohort of students have been making a big difference to Laurel Bank Care Home

Progress is well underway at Laurel Bank Care Home, where a group of students from Hyde Fire Station have chosen to renovate the outdoor spaces. Their efforts will enable residents to enjoy relaxing in the gardens.

These students are participating in the King’s Trust programme, where they are gaining new skills as part of their course.

Tameside Reporters' Mark Andrews spoke to Sarah Quinn, Team Manager Hyde King’s Trust at Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue, based at Hyde Fire Station and also met with Brad, one of the students on the course to find out more about the benefits of taking part.
