Detectives investigating a sexual assault on a train from Manchester to Stalybridge have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.
British Transport Police say the victim was asked to sit on a table seat by the offender after the pair boarded a train at Manchester Piccadilly, at around 10.30pm on 1 December last year.
The victim was then sexually assaulted during the journey, before the offender left the train at Stalybridge.
Police believe the man pictured may have information which could help the investigation.
Anyone who recognises him or has any information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 4 of December 2, 2022. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
