FOUND: Pensioner with dementia missing in Tameside

Police are appealing for help in finding a missing pensioner with dementia who was last seen in Ashton Bus Station on Monday lunchtime.

80-year-old Elsie is 5’3” with short curly grey/blonde hair, and was wearing a black waterproof jacket, a salmon-coloured jumper and a brown skirt.

The last sighting of her was at around 12:45 this afternoon, when it is believed she boarded the 231 bus before getting off near Hartshead.

GMP ask that anyone with information calls them on 0161 856 9521, quoting log 1794 of 16/09/24.

Elsie's family confirmed at around 4:45pm that she has been found safe and well.
