NHS patients will have access to a new dentist when a clinic opens in Denton at the end of January.
The branch of mydentist at Crown Point North is accepting new patients, although registrations will not be processed until Monday January 27.
Gorton and Denton MP and health minister, Andrew Gwynne, said: “A lack of access to NHS dental services has been an issue in my MP caseload for several years now.
“The new Labour Government is committed to improving access to NHS dental services and we’ve set in motion our plan to reform the dental contract and to improve the availability of NHS services, especially for children in the first instance.”
Open from Mondays to Saturdays, new centre will also be taking on private clients as well as NHS patients.
