A new Costa Coffee drive-thru has opened its doors at the recently developed Hattersley Retail Park, bringing another new facility to the area.
The coffee shop, located close to the junction of Stockport Road and Ashworth Lane, opposite Hattersley Hub, is now serving customers from 5am until 10pm every day.
The new branch offers customers the chance to pick up coffee, breakfast, and other refreshments either in-store or through the drive-thru.
Its opening marks another step forward for the £11 million Hattersley Trade Park development, which has transformed a long-standing vacant site into a new retail and commercial destination.
The 5.5-acre site had been unused for around 15 years before construction on the retail park began. The completed development includes eight trade counter units, 179 parking spaces, and an ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging hub, while an Aldi supermarket is also planned as part of the wider scheme.
The development is expected to create more than 100 jobs and is seen as an important part of efforts to provide Hattersley with a stronger district centre and additional local amenities.
With the Costa Coffee branch now open and with further businesses set to follow, the new retail park is bringing fresh activity to an area that has been awaiting redevelopment for many years.
