Ashton-under-Lyne and Failsworth MP Angela Rayner has visited the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church in Ealing with Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer.
The church members are working hard to raise funds for the Help Ukraine Emergency Appeal.
Ms Rayner, who is the deputy leader of the Labour Party, joined Mr Starmer to light candles to remember awful events past and present.
MP Rayner said: "It was an incredible honour to visit the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church. We stand shoulder to shoulder and in total solidarity with the Ukrainian people in the face of Putin’s unwarranted invasion."
